HELLO, AND HAPPY 2026.

Among the many wishes, reflections, quotes, and pieces of advice that accompany the start of a new year, one stayed with me:

“Every year, you make a resolution to change yourself. This year, make a resolution to be yourself.”

It resonated deeply. Although KULT is a profoundly personal project, I have often let the jewelry speak for itself, perhaps even hiding behind it, as some friends like to point out.

There is beauty in the unspoken. Leaving space for you to define a piece and write your own story with it has always felt important to me. Yet I have come to realize that without context or intention, and without knowing the person behind the work, something essential can be lost in translation. Achieving beautiful simplicity is, after all, a complex exercise. There is often far more than meets the eye.

This year feels like a natural moment to open the conversation a little wider. To share more openly what usually lives quietly behind my designs.

I am Jessie Bonne.

French Caribbean by birth and a traveler by nature, I see the world through the lens of geometry and layered influences. KULT was born in Mexico City from a personal need for everyday fine jewelry. It grew organically. What began as a simple “what if” became a reality the day a colleague refused to leave the office without one of my first pieces.

My work is a synthesis of my roots and of everyday observation, often drawn from art and architecture. Whether it is the lines of an Art Deco building in Paris or a vintage chair in Miami, I extract, distill, and abstract until a form feels right. I have come to fully embrace my role as a creator, and with it the desire to share the inspirations and cultural currents that shape my work.

This year, I am committed to sharing more of the essence of KULT with you. After all, what is a jewel without meaning?

Thank you for being part of this ongoing journey. There is always more to say, and that is the beauty of it all.

Warmly,

Jessie
